Nintendo Wii Bundle Games And Fitness In A Bundle

The Wii Nintendo revolution continues with some amazing product line up. The aim for company is to generate gaming interest for all generations. The Wii aims to get you out of the couch and onto exercising. All this while gaming was only standing but no exercise and Wii Fit has changed all that. The developers got the idea of a Wii Fit Balance Board while watching the Sumo wrestlers do the weigh-ins.

These sumo wrestlers are so heavy that the they use two scales to weigh both sides together. Same concept has been applied to the Wii Fit with the balance board which is dual scale and measures weight of the both the players, left and right side.

Wii has all sorts of physically interactive games which it has been trying to create and a generation ranging form three years olds to eight year olds have been busy lapping up its models. With the balance board it has now tried to combine exercise and gaming together to capture both the industries of games and fitness.

The Wii Fit and the Balance Board have about 40 activities including yoga, aerobics, strength and balance training.

There is an avatar called Mii which will tell you whether you are under or over weight and it will then try to create weight loss goals for you and you can then choose from a range of exercises to reach your goals.

Then there is a trainer which helps you get the exercises done correctly . For those who have never gone inside a gym this will be very helpful especially with the strength training and yoga modules.

There has been such a rush that old age homes and hospitals have been trying to get their hands on the Wii and it has been labeled as Wiihabilitation.

You cannot cheat the system for sure so the best bet is to work hard on the Wii Fit and balance board and it will reward you with more and more advanced activities.

So rush to your nearby store and get your hands on the Balance Board and the Wii game so as to get the best out of gaming and fitness in a bundle.

Cheap Nintendo Wii – How To Lose Weight Using The Wii Fit

How To Lose Weight Using The Wii Fit

Wii Fit is a combination of fitness and fun, designed for everyone, young and old. By playing Wii Fit a little every day, you, your friends, and your family can work towards personal goals of better health and fitness. And lose some weight? YES

So can one lose weight using the Wii fit- that’s the million dollar question? YES DEFINITELY. As long as you use it regularly and with the proper workout – with 4 to 5 regular 45 minute workouts per week you will reach your weight loss goals and get fit and have fun doing it.

But just as important is the type of workout you choose. Many people have reported the Wii Fit did not help them lose weight or get fit and there are 2 reasons for this – they didn’t work out on a regular basis and when they did they used the wrong workout. So here’s the way to lose weight using your new Christmas gift(and I am assuming you are routinely working out 5 times a week for a minimum of 45 minutes a week:

Rule 1: The balance games are fun but do not really help so they are not part of the routine. They are only to be used as a break after completing the aerobic workout. So after completing the 10 minute advance step program you can use a balance game to catch your breath.

But other than that they are not to be a part of your regular routine. Or after you have lost your five pounds for the week you can reward yourself with a 10 minute game of soccer ball goalie. But people who complained about not losing weight spent too much time playing the balance games. They help your hand eye coordination but they do nothing to help you reach your weight loss goals. Avoid them or do them extras above and beyond your normal workout.

Rule 2: Do 3 Aerobic exercises every session. Whether its boxing or steps or running or Hula hoops be sure you do at least 3 aerobic programs. And go as long as the system will allow you. So once the aerobic steps allows you to complete 5 minutes instead of 3 minutes always step up to and complete the extra time.

And alternate between the aerobics and the other programs. For example start with a long run then do a couple "yoga’s" followed by the aerobic boxing and then maybe a strength program and then back to a step program. The key is to pick the exercises you like but to switch back and forth with at least half your time doing aerobics and no balance games.

Rule3 Balance the rest of the session with yoga and strength exercises.

Rule 4: Workout at least every other day and at least 5 times a week but only completes the body test every other workout session. It’s great to monitor your results but every day is too often. Following this routine I have lost 20 pounds in 7 weeks and 26 pounds in 16 weeks.

Its averaged 3 pounds a week with several weeks of 5 pound weight loses. In conclusion, it works. But like any exercise it only works if the person using it is willing to put in the effort. I could have achieved the same results simply by doing sit-ups and push-ups every day, and going for a run. However I don’t realistically believe that I would have had enough motivation to do that.

It works because it shows me everyday how much I weigh, how much time I’ve invested, and how well I am doing on my exercises. It also keeps fantastic records that I can look back on and it makes charts showing my progress (or lack thereof). The balance board is nothing magical.

Just by standing on it you don’t get a better body. You have to put in the time. What Wii Fit tries to do is to make that time enjoyable, and for me it accomplished that goal. I did the work – it helped record it, make it fun and motivated me.

The Wii Balance Board is more than just a scale it can read your real-life movements and bring them to life on screen, just like the Wii Remote" controller. Realistically snowboard down a mountain or walk a tight ropeit’s just one more way to get into the game.

The Body Test in Wii Fit is a short and simple set of activities used to gauge your body’s performance. After choosing a Mii" – a virtual caricature unique to Wii – to represent you, use the Wii Balance Board to measure your center of balance, Body Mass Index (BMI), and body control.

Based on these results, you can also determine your Wii Fit Age. The whole family can engage in the Body Test and compare their progress together! Check your daily progress in Wii Fit with easy-to-understand charts and graphs.

The orange line you see in the center of the graph represents your BMI the first time you checked it. From then on, it’s easy to tell how you’ve done since you started using Wii Fit. You can also set goals, check your Wii Fit Age, and even enter exercise time you’ve done outside of Wii Fit.

As you spend time exercising, you’ll earn Fit Credits that unlock additional exercises and activities within these categories. Wii Fit also tracks the activities you do the most and puts them into the Favorites category.

– Strength Training: Put your strength to the test with muscle-toning exercises like Single Leg Extension, Sideways Leg Lift, Arm and Leg Lift, Single-Arm Stand, Torso Twists, Rowing Squat, Single Leg Twist, Lunge, Push-Up and Side Plank, Jackknife, Plank and Triceps Extension. Challenges include Push-Up Challenge, Plank Challenge and Jackknife Challenge. -

Aerobics: Get your heart pumping with fun, interactive Aerobic exercises like Hula Hoop, Basic Step, Basic Run, Super Hula Hoop, Advanced Step, 2-P Run, Rhythm Boxing, Free Step and Free Run.

– Yoga: Work on your balance and flexibility with Yoga poses and activities like Deep Breathing, Half-Moon, Dance, Cobra, Bridge, Spinal Twist, Shoulder Stand, Warrior, Tree, Sun Salutation, Standing Knee, Palm Tree, Chair, Triangle and Downward-Facing Dog.

– Balance Games: Get into the action with fun, balanced-based games like Soccer Heading, Ski Slalom, Ski Jump, Table Tilt, Tightrope Walk, Balance Bubble, Penguin Slide, Snowboard Slalom and Lotus Focus.

Tracking Results: – Keep tabs on your daily progress with easy-to-understand graphs and charts. Using your personal profile, you can set goals, view a graph of your BMI results over time, see how many Fit Credits you’ve earned, check your Wii Fit Age and even enter exercise time you’ve done outside of Wii Fit. It’s all about coming back and exercising a little every day, and the personal profile makes tracking your daily progress simple and easy.

– You can quickly check your Wii Fit Age and BMI without even putting the game in the console by going directly to the Wii Fit Channel. – On the profile-selection screen, everyone in the family can see each other’s recent BMI progress and Fit Credit total. This will allow families to have a friendly competition to exercise and get fit.

Wii Fit can help you learn more about your balance, and give you tips on how to improve Create a Profile:

– Before you jump into doing exercises and activities, you’ll start by creating your own profile. Choose a Mii, enter your height and age information, and do a few quick tests:

– BMI Check: BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that is the standard used by agencies such as the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health. To check your BMI, you’ll enter your height then stand on the Wii Balance Board and let it read your weight.

– Wii Fit Age: After you’ve checked your BMI, you’ll do a basic balance test and find out your current Wii Fit Age. This basic balance test measures how well you can control your left and right balance. Based on the results, you’ll be assigned a Wii Fit Age.

Body Test: Wii Fit works best if you perform a Body Test every week not every day as they recommend. In this test, you’ll use the Wii Balance Board accessory to measure your center of balance, Body Mass Index (BMI), and body control.

Based on these results, you can also determine your Wii Fit Age. Much like Brain Age", you can chart your daily progress and compare it against previous results, as well as other friends and family who play Wii Fit.
